sardonic smile....



looked yonder
in the dark,
dim lights flickering
and a shape turned out,
from behind  bushes,
went near to inspect
as what's making
even moonlight
to feel jealous,
its
a peacock
rejoicing,
and
dancing
as it unfurls plumage,
a sight
to behold
the very moment,
raised - peacock
its head,
thanked moon
in response for the blessing.,
to which stars
smiled sardonically
at her innocence.........
